Although all packages provide a minimum amount of digital images, additional images are available to purchase if you feel you just need more!
Yes! Bring along your fur-baby – they are part of the family, right? Unless it’s a bird… Perhaps leave that one at home.
Additional/extended family members may be added to family packages. Let me know how many you would like to include and I can provide an extra quote.
The location for photos is totally dependent on each photo session. A personal branding shoot is usually relaxed and in a work environment. A family shoot is best outdoors in the park or beach, but may be better suited within the family home with the arrival of a newborn. Every shoot is different and together we can make a plan best suited to you.
Most of all, remember you don’t need to know what to do or how to pose. That’s my job to guide you through. Most people are nervous and unsure of it all. I promise to make it painless, and casual, and you will come away feeling like you have nailed this mighty challenge. (To be honest, it's super easy, I pinky promise)
FAQ
What is your photography style?
My answer to this is always an easy one. Fun, relaxed candid and colourful. Standing still for too long just won't happen. Lots of moving about with a ton of laughs and a few bad jokes always works and keeps everybody relaxed.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Huntington, Hamilton in the Waikato - and yes we travel often. We have no travel charges within 30km of Hamilton. A small mileage fee per km applies outside of this area.
Can I bring along extended family members to our family session
Yes you are very welcome to have as many people as you like in your family shoot. My packages are created for immediate family first. Adding additional members such as grandparents, uncles & aunties, cousins etc will require an extra small fee per person. This is required as more people require more time to photograph and edit.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum 3 weeks (usually less depending on the season I photograph your story).
Where is the best location to have photos?
This is super dependant on your type of shoot. Outdoor locations always make stunning choices. Maybe it's a place special to you as a couple or family, or if you have a young baby or toddler, then within your own home can be a fab choice. For personal branding, then often a mixture of relaxed outdoor and within your workplace to get you a variety of formal and relaxed images.
When is the best times/days to book photoshoots?
This is a pretty important one.
Photo sessions can be booked all year round. All seasons have pros and cons. If photographing small children, then it needs to be at the kids' best time of the day - obviously. Otherwise, late afternoon/early evening is just picture perfect for lighting to avoid hash sunlight. (Sunsets are just dreamy and should def be considered). I'm available to photograph both weekdays and weekends.
What do I wear for my photos?
You will look at your photos for a long time, so clothing does matter. I offer a full style guide to all my clients to give them a simple guide through this.
